Make a Zig-Zag Book with a Creative Narrative or Illustrations Designed for All Levels, Ages 16–Adult • Instructor: Cassaundra Flor In this 2.5-hour workshop, earn how to make your own handmade zig-zag book—a fun and approachable introduction to bookmaking! All bookmaking supplies, micron pens, some pencils, colored pencils, markers, and watercolors will be provided for use. Once your book is constructed, we’ll fill its pages with a creative narrative using text and ink drawings. Bring a favorite recipe, poem, short story, or sequence of memories to use as inspiration to create a unique, illustrated book. And please bring a pencil, sketchbook, and any other drawing materials you'd like to use. No previous bookmaking experience is necessary. Come ready to experiment, draw, and create a one-of-a-kind handmade book!
