April 19, 6-9 pm Ages 15+ $40 Supplies will be provided 4-14 students Take a new approach to the classic Polaroid picture. In this single-day workshop, you will learn the science behind the beloved Polaroid instant film before disrupting it. Through cutting, peeling, and soaking, participants will create new and unexpected images by transferring the emulsion to paper or other surfaces. Although some photography knowledge could be helpful, it is not required; all are welcome. Kaitlyn Dougher is a lens-based artist nestled in the hills of Bucks County, PA. Her creative practice revolves around the exploration of photography as a medium. It is led by curiosity, inspired by memories, and fueled by emotion. Her work has been exhibited in the Philadelphia area and featured on The Luupe. Most recently, Kaitlyn taught a Polaroid lift workshop at Paradigm Gallery in conjunction with Collage Philadelphia’s CollageFest. https://www.crybabystudio.art/
