Service Description
How to Paint Florals with Oil Paints Designed for All Levels* • Instructor: Cassaundra Flor In this three-hour workshop, learn how to approach painting a floral arrangement in oils. We’ll begin with a live demonstration covering how to start your painting, with a focus on composition, design, and capturing light and shadow. From there, you'll be guided through understanding color relationships and how to use color effectively. You’ll then have plenty of time to work at your own pace, applying these concepts as you paint a beautiful floral arrangement with individualized guidance throughout. CLASS LIMIT: 12 *A basic understanding of how to use oil paints is recommended. STUDENT SUPPLY LIST: (list will be emailed upon registration) • Instructor will supply solvent, paper towels, and panel to paint on. • Please bring oil paints, brushes, disposable gloves, and palette paper. • Recommended palette: Ivory Black, Titanium White, Cadmium Red, Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Yellow, Viridian Green, Olive Green, Ultramarine Blue, Alizarin Crimson, and Raw Umber. For Classes: 90% refund for cancellation up until one week before start date, then 50% up until the end of the first class. For Workshops: 90% refund for cancellation up until one week before start date; 50% up until the end of the day before workshop begins and no refunds day of workshop.
